Opinions and impressionsof the articipants:
Ann, Kyiv:
This camp - is an achievement for each person. I'd love to thank
the IEC "Women's Network" and the "Kviten" Club
for organizing such an event. Here, in the camp, many people were
born to live a life in its full value.
Olga, Lviv:
It's so cool that we have our own camp, and that this is the first
one, and we were like ground breakers, like Columbus. Before visiting
the camp I was a completely reserved person. All these people were
alien. But now all of them are my friends, at least this is how
I feel. Now it is so nice to feel freedom inside and be open to
others. And I truly hope to keep this feeling.
Irene, Ternopil:
I have learned many things in this camp and am sure, that in the
future it will become of great help to me. What have I learned?
For example - to think. The trainings that were held in the camp
helped me in this. The people here are all so cool! We make a great
team together.
Marina, Kherson:
We were agitated and nervous while expecting arrival to the camp.
And I liked the camp very much. Now, in my own region, I will try
to change something, do something of the kind, bring people together.
I hope to meet everyone next year as well. Ksenia, Kirovograd: This
camp means so much for me. First of all it was work directed at
self-perfection. Trainers and all the participants helped me in
this a great deal. They helped me to grow open, and not to be shy
to express my feelings and to say "thank you" to people,
who help me. Only now I realize that there are many other ways to
communicate with people. People, who came here, have taught me to
live better then before. This is the feeling I will take home with
me.
Helen, Kyiv:
Impressions are all very different. This camp is the first one and
I was lucky to be among the first ones. I respect myself for managing
to overcome myself and come over here. I have changed here in the
camp. I knew that many nice things exist in this life, but couldn't
afford most of them, for example openness, kindness. In a big city
you always live with a feeling of threat or danger. And in the camp
that threat had left. It is very important for me that all women,
who have come here, teamed up. I have acquired friends from Kherson,
Lviv, Kirovograd, Kyiv. I know I can talk to people about personal
feelings and changes, and I know I will be understood. Because we
all went through this, we all have changed. This is not a girlscout
camp, when kids go home and write each other letters boasting of
their grades at school. I am interested to know how the others will
live after the camp. And I think the same will be of a true interest
for them about me.
Nadezhda, Odessa:
I am overfilled with feelings! This camp is something I've been
waiting for a long time. And I know I am not the only one. In the
camp I grew stronger, learned to use my knowledge and acquired a
lot of new information, grew one step up. Everything in the camp
became a very important lesson to me. Huge human Thank You to the
organizers for everything they've done.
